Before introducing docunite, the team faced the classic challenges of professional real estate management: data silos between different teams and systems, a lack of data consistency across the entire portfolio, and — most painful of all — tedious, manual transaction preparation.
For every transaction, documents had to be gathered from separate filing structures, updated, and made available in a separate external data room. The biggest stumbling block was moving away from the familiar folder structure — a shift that was as much cultural as it was technical.
